About this job:


Responsible for the planning, development, implementation, supervision and evaluation of the preschool program. Develops and implements a developmentally appropriate preschool program for young children. Assures the development and safety of children in accordance with relevant Federal, State, and local legislation and policies. Provides leadership, guidance, team development, customer service and support to staff and participants of the program and facility

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for the mental and physical development of 2-5 year old children enrolled in the facility. Plans, directs, manages and coordinates both academic and extracurricular activities for the center, managing its resources and providing administrative guidance and supervision of its child specialists and early learning educators who use play-to-learn teaching methods

• Plan and develop the school's learning methods with inputs from the faculty and external education officials and consultants to ensure quality program success

• Discussing the children's progress with other teachers and parents

• Developing activities and teaching programs that are culturally appropriate. Adapting the available teaching methods to meet the interest and needs of the children. Promoting early education and literacy

• Recruit, evaluate and hire primary and early education teachers as well as support administrative staff and provide opportunities for career training and advancement

• Other duties as assigned



What You’ll Need:
  • Associate's or relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
  • Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
