Assist staff with both long and short range goals in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophies. They work in preschools, daycare centers, pre-kindergarten programs, and, in some cases, school systems to oversee and coordinate childcare and educational programs, and other programs as assigned.

MINIMUM STATE REQUIREMENTS - CPR and First Aid trained, TB Tested, and documentation of ONE of the following: 6 months experience and a high school diploma or GED or At least 12 credit hours in early childhood, child development, or closely related field OR NAC/CDA/ or CCP credentials OR An associate's degree or bachelor degree, from an accredited college or university in early childhood, child development, or a closely related field. All experience must be in a licensed day care facility.
Working Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands; the employee is frequently required to stand, walk for long periods of time and occasionally run; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee may be required to stand for long periods of time; walk, and occasionally run. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
