DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist teacher in the management of student arrival and departure activities.
Assist with the individual goals of students.
Support learning experiences that will assist students in a successful return to the classroom setting.
Assist in the supervision of students and personal needs of students.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Maintain safety and welfare of students.
Provide one-to-one assistance with academic and/or daily activities.
Assist in student personal hygiene (may include changing diapers, assist in feeding, dressing or bathroom functions, cleaning face/hands).
Provide the teacher with clerical assistance, organizing materials for distribution and recording information.
Assist teacher in daily instruction and supervision of self-contained programs serving students with Autism, Multiple Disabilities, Emotional Disturbance, Severe-Profound, Intellectually Disabled and/or Development Delayed.
Regularly required to stand, walk and bend/kneel while completing responsibilities listed previously.
