At Martin Luther School, we believe every student deserves access to an excellent education, even if their path to school has included challenges, disruption, or trauma.
Our students are bright, curious, and capable. What many of them have needed is a school that understands how learning and emotional development are connected. At MLS, strong instruction and social-emotional support work together. Both are essential to helping students grow as learners.
Our classrooms are supported by a collaborative team that includes teachers, teacher assistants, social workers, behavior specialists, and clinical leaders. Staff work closely together to understand each student, problem-solve challenges, and create environments where students feel safe enough to take academic risks and stay engaged in learning. Teachers Assistants are part of a thoughtful system that supports both students and educators.
We are looking for a Teacher Assistant who can provide assistance to teachers and students in the development of strategies to achieve academic, behavioral, and social goals. The Teaching Assistant is an active participant in Teaching and Clinical Services meetings. The right candidate believes that students learn best when they are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and stay engaged even when learning is challenging.
