Egypt Education Platform is excited to announce an opening for the position of Teacher Assistant for the academic year 2026-2027 at GEMS British International School of Madinaty As a Teacher Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting classroom management, providing assistance to teachers, and enhancing the learning experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead teacher with classroom activities, preparing materials, and maintaining an organized learning environment.
• Support individual students or small groups in their learning, reinforcing concepts and providing additional help as needed.
• Help to implement lesson plans and educational programs, contributing to a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Monitor student behavior and progress, assisting in the development of personalized learning strategies.
• Engage with students in recreational activities, promoting social and emotional development.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and contribute to school initiatives.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and other staff members to create a supportive learning community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in education or a related field is desirable.
• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students and support their learning needs.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with young learners.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting teachers and contributing to a positive classroom environment.
• Organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy school environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
