As a Teacher Aide, you will assist the classroom teacher in non-related teaching duties such as filing documents in student files, organizing materials and equipment; attending to the physical needs of children; and supervising students for classroom safety purposes.
Responsibilities
- Under the classroom teacher's supervision, files documents in student records and organizes materials/ equipment in the classroom.
- Under the classroom teacher's supervision, attends to students' physical needs.
- Assists the classroom team with classroom organization and clean up.
- Supervises students when determined, as needed for safety purposes.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- At least one or two years of related experience in an educational and/or social services setting.
