Salary: $17.50/Hour Minimum

Bargaining Unit (click here for contracts): AGCEP Contract

Report Times: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Daily Hours: 7.5 (7 Paid)

Work Year: 39 weeks

Supervisor: Principal

Civil Service Title: Office Clerk IV (Competitive - NY HELPS)

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma.

Desired Qualifications:

Strong typing and word-processing skills;

Advanced computer proficiency;

Experience with Infinite Campus or a comparable student information system;

Proficiency with Google Workspace, including spreadsheets and word-processing applications;

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

Strong clerical, administrative, and organizational abilities;

Flexible, responsible, and dependable work ethic.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Providing clerical support to the main office and classroom teachers;

Typing, filing, computer/data-entry tasks, mail processing, and reception;

Making daily phone calls to families regarding student absences;

Managing daily car dismissal check-ins using the PikMyKid system;

Lunchroom and Classroom monitoring/supervision as needed;

Performing additional duties as assigned.
