West Row Academy are seeking a committed, reflective and collaborative Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis.

This role is ideal for a colleague who is passionate about high-quality teaching, has high aspirations for all pupils and is committed to contributing positively to a supportive and values-driven school community. If you share our belief that our children are our treasures, and you are excited to help them build rich “treasure chests” of skills, confidence and opportunity, we would love to hear from you.

Working closely with colleagues across the school, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, supporting a positive classroom culture and ensuring strong outcomes for all pupils.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is an excellent classroom practitioner, with strong knowledge of high-quality, inclusive pedagogy
  • has high expectations for all pupils and is committed to enabling every child to succeed
  • can plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • uses assessment effectively to inform teaching and ensure progress Is reflective and responsive, continually seeking to improve their practice
  • communicates clearly and works collaboratively with colleagues
  • builds positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff and families to support them to belong
  • is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • contributes positively to the wider life and community of the school.
