T.E.A.C.H. CNA Apprenticeship
Next Program begins August 19, 2026 and runs through November 2, 2026.
Participants in the T.E.A.C.H. Apprenticeship Program are identified as having one or more significant barriers to entering the workforce.
In partnership with DMACC, Iowa Workforce Development, and Urban Dreams, Broadlawns Medical Center is proud to offer paid apprenticeship opportunities for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. The T.E.A.C.H. (Training and Educating for a Career in Healthcare) program introduces participants to Broadlawns’ work culture and career paths. Interns receive transferrable college credits by completing the Basic and Advanced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training through DMACC.

Attendance at each class is required for program completion, missed days will result in termination from the program
Following program completion, graduates may transition into Health Care Tech employment at Broadlawns Medical Center
