CAS is currently seeking a Marketing Web Developer. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

The marketing web developer at CAS is responsible for administering, optimizing, and evolving the CAS website and web applications to advance business objectives across multiple internal teams. Beyond hands-on development, this person is a strategic partner who ties web and technology decisions to revenue and measurable business outcomes, builds cross-functional buy-in, and champions automation and artificial intelligence to help the marketing organization work smarter and scale. The ideal candidate pairs strong technical execution with strategic judgment and a collaborative mindset. Technical strengths span web design, user experience, performance, and brand consistency, complemented by the ability to prioritize the highest-impact work and bring stakeholders along. Day to day, this role partners with marketing peers to understand their needs, applies CAS brand standards, develops front- and back-end solutions, integrates AI and automation into workflows, and validates that everything performs reliably and securely.

Job accountabilities

  • Partner with marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and lead web initiatives that drive engagement, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Build consensus and secure buy-in by clearly connecting web, technology, and automation decisions to measurable business and revenue outcomes.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement automation and AI-driven solutions to streamline content and marketing workflows, improve site performance, and scale operations.
  • Build, test, and optimize a secure, high-performing website that supports the evolving business needs of CAS.
  • Provide continued maintenance and support for CAS.org and other web properties, including routine site audits on a proactive and as-needed basis.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, content authors, external vendors, services, and agencies to deliver a consistent, engaging online user experience that meets their needs and expectations.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to deliver experiences that engage customers and accomplish CAS marketing objectives.
  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with team members and leadership about the direction and performance of the website.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to build consensus and generate marketing content including, but not limited to, case studies, white papers, blog posts, e-books, social media posts, video scripts, infographics, emails, and web copy.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to think and lead strategically, prioritizing web and technology initiatives by business impact and connecting that work to revenue and marketing outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience applying automation and artificial intelligence to marketing or web workflows (e.g., AI-assisted content, personalization, chatbots, workflow automation, or AI-powered analytics).
  • BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience in related disciplines.
  • Five or more years of relevant experience, including at least three years designing for a digital-first (and mobile) environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and previous experience in a B2B marketing environment.
  • Proficiency in Webflow, including Webflow Designer, CMS management, and custom code integration.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience integrating custom code within Webflow environments.
  • Mastery of web development, including building responsive and accessible interfaces, reusable code, and web pages optimized for speed and scalability.
  • Strong technical SEO background and expertise using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
  • Experience supporting websites offered in multiple languages.
  • Firm understanding of key design principles and online UI conventions, with the ability to enhance the user experience while maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms (MAP) to support the execution of multi-tactic digital campaigns.
  • Experience with third-party integrations and automation tools (Zapier, Make.com, or similar platforms).
  • Experience with online delivery of PDF, video, and other file types.
  • Experience working with web analytics platforms and creating web performance reports.
  • Understanding of network diagnostics and analytical tools.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) for code management and collaboration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web pages for function, security, and responsiveness.
  • Basic understanding of web security principles and secure coding practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Experience with performance monitoring tools (Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, BrowserStack).
  • Preferred: experience with animation libraries (GSAP) and advanced JavaScript functionality.
