Job Description

The T&E Expense Analyst supports the organization’s Travel & Expense (T&E) operations by reviewing employee expense reports, providing day-to-day support to employees, and contributing to accurate financial reporting. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with company policies, timely processing of expenses, and high-quality employee support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate employee expense reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company T&E policies.

• Process expense reports promptly, resolving discrepancies and policy exceptions.

• Provide support to employees via chat and email regarding expense report submissions, policy questions, and system usage.

• Act as the first point of contact for T&E-related inquiries, ensuring a positive employee experience.

• Support the expense-related aspects of the employee exit process, ensuring all outstanding expenses are submitted, reviewed, and processed.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of T&E processes and controls.

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

• Relevant associate degree or equivalent work experience considered.

Experience:

• Initial experience or internship in finance, accounting, shared services, or expense management is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with Concur is an asset.

• Knowledge of Oversight or similar audit/monitoring tools is an asset.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook).

• Familiarity with financial reporting and accrual concepts.

Soft Skills

• Basic understanding of accounting or expense management principles.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken (min. B2).

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to support employees professionally.

• Team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
