Job Description

To provide domain and functional expertise in assigned technology platforms and business processes by translating business requirements into technology solutions, supporting solution design and implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement in system capabilities and operational effectiveness.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements related to TDS processes and compliance.
• Configure and customize TDS modules in core banking system.
• Ensure accurate calculation, deduction, and reporting of TDS across transactions.
• Collaborate with finance, payroll, and IT teams to align TDS workflows.
• Support statutory audits and respond to tax-related queries.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and update system configurations accordingly.
• Conduct testing and support UAT for TDS functionalities.
• Provide training and post-implementation support to users.

Functional Responsibilities

• Understand business processes involving TDS across payroll, vendor payments, and interest payouts.
• Configure TDS modules in core banking system.
• Set up deduction rules, thresholds, PAN/TAN validations, and surcharge/cess calculations.
• Design and execute test cases for TDS deduction, reporting, and filing.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve functional defects.
• Liaise with finance, payroll, compliance, and IT teams to ensure smooth TDS operations and Act as a bridge between tax consultants and technical developers.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and update system configurations accordingly and ensure timely implementation of amendments.
• Assist in tax planning and optimization by structuring transactions to minimize TDS liability within legal bounds

Experience: 8 to 10 years

Qualifications: M.Tech/B.Tech Or Equivalent Bachelors Degree
