Job Description

Established for the purpose/s of preparing and distributing food items; providing complete and accurate documentation and audit trail for meals served; and maintaining facilities in a sanitary condition.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve food items from kitchen and storeroom areas to replenish the kitchen serving areas for the purpose of making items available to staff.
  • Cleans utensils, equipment, and the storage, food preparation and serving areas for the purpose of maintaining sanitary conditions.
  • Inspects food items, work areas, etc. (e.g. personal hygiene, proper food temperatures, etc.) for the purpose of preventing cross contamination of food borne illnesses.
  • Prepares and Produces product needed to prepare cold sandwiches and salads with limited hot food preparation for sandwiches and salads.
  • Receive food and beverage orders from team members. Serves (e.g. hands a pre-made or pre purchased item) one or more items of food for the purpose of meeting mandated nutritional requirements and/or requests of staff

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
  • Education Required: High School or Equivalent
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift

Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed in a casino / hotel setting.
  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.

  • Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.
  • Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
  • Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Eye/hand coordination.
  • Use of standard office equipment.
  • Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
