Our catering division Total Catering Solutions (TCS) is one of the leading Cook – Chill / Cook Freeze and Extended shelf-life food manufacturers in Perth, Western Australia.

Located in a Bassendean in a purpose-built facility, TCS utilises modern high tech production equipment and the latest technology in computer systems and software packages specifically designed for the food manufacturing industry.

THE ROLE

The Kitchen Hand role is a diverse position, you will be assisting to prepare food working alongside TCS Chefs and Cooks to complete the days’ production, and will maintain hygienic and safe working environments through routine cleaning.

This is a part-time role located at our Bassendean, working Monday to Thursday 7am – 3:30pm, and on Friday’s 7am – 1:30pm, total hours 48 hours per fortnight.

Please note you must be able to commit to all advertised hours to be considered.

Key responsibilities:

Assisting Chefs/Cooks in various tasks

Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen/equipment

Working on various product lines including the pie and sausage roll lines

Maintaining legislated food hygiene and safety practices

Packaging various products and palletising ready for delivery to customers

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have at least 2-years’ experience in a commercial / food manufacturing environment.

Essential Criteria:

  • 2026 Flu vaccinations
  • Successful completion of a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
  • Pass reference checks
