Hankook Tire Europe Technical Center (ETC) based in Hannover, Germany is one of Hankook Tire’s five global R&D centers (along with Korea, United States, Japan, China) and is responsible for the development and testing of tire solutions for European road conditions – working together with premium European vehicle manufacturers. Indoor test operation and quality control for European tire production in Hungary are also controlled by ETC.
As an Expert for Tire Wear, you will contribute to the development and optimization of tire wear performance within our global R&D organization. You will be responsible for designing and conducting advanced test programs, analyzing results, and supporting international collaboration projects to enhance tire durability and efficiency.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation required for tire homologation.
- Register and manage relevant technical data and documentation in OEM systems.
2) Product and Technical Support
- Present Hankook products and explain the technologies applied to them during OEM meetings
- Provide technical responses to OEM inquiries and effectively communicate the company’s technological capabilities.
3) OE Technology and Market Trend Analysis
- Conduct market research on OEM vehicle trends, competitor activities, and relevant technologies.
- Identify and analyze OEM technical requirements.
- Share market insights and customer requirements with the relevant R&D and product development teams.
4) Testing and Evaluation Support
- Coordinate the sourcing and supply of tires required for OEM basic testing, including tests requested at short notice.
- Manage the progress of long-term vehicle and tire testing conducted between OEM locations and Hankook warehouses, and support the demonstration of product performance.
- Participate in on-site testing to support OEM evaluations for special projects, such as the introduction of new tire sizes or increased load indices.
- Coordinate test-related activities with OEM customers and relevant internal departments.
2.RE Market Product and Technical Training
1) TBR Technical Sales Support
- Provide product and technical training for Hankook’s internal TBR sales personnel.
- Deliver product and technical training to commercial tire dealers, including vehicle inspections, technical service support, and quality-related responses
- Represent Hankook as a TBR technical speaker at exhibitions, driving events, seminars, and industry conferences.
2) Hankook Vehicle Testing Management
- Coordinate and manage integrated vehicle testing activities conducted in Europe by ETC, Hankook subsidiaries, and research organizations.
- Collaborate with the relevant Technical Service Teams to ensure the effective planning and execution of vehicle testing activities.
