The Junior Tax Technologist will support the tax function’s digital initiatives, with a particular focus on the deployment and enhancement of GenAI. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with strong technical skills, an interest in coding and artificial intelligence, and a willingness to learn about tax technology applications. The successful candidate will work closely with tax professionals to provide technical support, assist with automation projects, and contribute to the ongoing development of digital tools.

How you will Make an Impact:

• Assist with the implementation, maintenance, and user support of GenAI within the tax function.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and automate routine tasks using GenAI and other technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain scripts or simple automations using relevant coding languages (e.g., Python, VBA).
• Support the integration of AI features into tax workflows, under guidance from senior staff.
• Provide training and technical troubleshooting for end users of GenAI and related tools.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies in automation and AI, suggesting improvements where appropriate.
• Ensure adherence to data security and confidentiality standards in all technology-related activities.

Let's Talk about You:

• Bachelor’s degree (or in final year of study) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic familiarity with coding languages such as Python, VBA, or similar.
• Interest in artificial intelligence and automation technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Willingness to learn about tax technology applications and processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a dynamic environment.

Preferred:

• Previous internship or work experience in a technology-focused role is an advantage, but not required.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms or AI tools is beneficial.
