In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s tax compliance and reporting activities in Mexico, ensuring adherence to applicable tax regulations and corporate policies.

Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve

• EnsurefullcompliancewithMexicantaxregulations, managing all tax filings, reporting requirements, and statutory obligations while adapting to changing tax laws and SAT requirements.

• Managetaxriskandsupportaudits, including coordinating responses to tax authority reviews, audits, information requests, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

• Overseeaccurateandtimelytaxcomplianceprocesses, ensuring all tax calculations, payments, reconciliations, and reporting deadlines are met with a high level of accuracy.

• Providetaxguidanceandsupportforbusinessoperationsandstrategicinitiatives, including cross-functional projects, organizational changes, new business activities, and process improvements.

• Collaboratewithinternalandexternalstakeholders such as Finance, Accounting, Customs, Legal, Operations, auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities to ensure effective tax planning, compliance, and reporting.

If you have/are:

• Bachelor’sdegreeinPublicAccounting,Finance,orarelatedfield, with professional certifications such as CPA,CertifiedTaxSpecialist,orequivalent highly preferred.

• Advanced English skills

• Strongexperienceinfederalandlocaltaxcompliance, including tax determination, tax filings, tax provisions, and tax reporting requirements.

• Comprehensiveknowledgeofdirectandindirecttaxes, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, withholding taxes, local taxes, and customs-related tax matters.

• Advancedunderstandingoftaxaccounting,financialstatementanalysis,taxreconciliations,internalcontrols,taxriskmanagement,andauditsupport.

• AdvancedproficiencyinExcelandERPsystems(SAP,Oracle,orsimilar), coupled with strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
