About the role

Tired of the back-office compliance grind and chasing sales? Uplinq is a hyper-growth, AI-driven firm scaling past 1,000+ returns and doubling in size every year. We are seeking a personable, strategy-minded CPA for a 100% advisory role—our prep team handles the compliance, and our pipeline is already full. You’ll lead up to 12 client meetings a week, delivering advanced wealth, estate, and business succession strategies using elite tools like TaxPlanIQ and Maverick. What you'll do

• Own the Client Room: Confidently lead up to 12 high-impact, strategic client meetings per week, acting as a true financial partner and advisor.
• Deliver Advanced, Holistic Strategies: Go far beyond basic tax compliance, ES vouchers, or home office deductions. You will build and present comprehensive strategies encompassing advanced tax minimization, estate planning, insurance alignment, and business succession planning.
• Leverage Elite Tech & AI: Utilize our best-in-class strategy stack—including TaxPlanIQ and Maverick—while actively integrating AI tools (like ChatGPT and TaxGPT) into your daily research, communication, and strategy formulation.
• Collaborate for Execution: Partner closely with our internal accounting team and our powerhouse compliance squad (a team of 7–9 preparers utilizing CCH Axcess) to ensure your strategies are flawlessly executed.

Qualifications

• Active CPA License: Required. Our high-net-worth clients expect and trust the CPA credential during high-level strategy sessions.
• Real Strategy Experience: Proven track record of actively designing and implementing complex tax and wealth plans for business owners, not just filing their returns.
• Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: You must be genuinely personable, deeply empathetic to the challenges of small business owners, and energized by heavy client-facing interaction.
• AI & Tech Obsession: You must be highly AI-friendly. We use AI for all tasks where possible, and you should be eager to champion tech adoption to maximize your efficiency.
• Adaptability: Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment that is scaling rapidly.
