The Key Purpose of this role is to support the Tax, Reporting and Compliance Team functions within the NoCC framework providing tax compliance and reporting services to the whole Africa Zone. Currently the team services 10 of the 11 countries in AFR Zone that AB-InBev has a presence in. We provide corporate income tax, VAT, Excise, and transfer pricing services to most of the countries and Month-end reporting services to all 11 countries. We also share information for the AFR Zone with Global team and US tax team for AFR Zone to meet tax compliance or reporting requirements from a Global viewpoint.
The Tax, Reporting and Compliance Specialist would be assisting the team to provide the services within AFR Zone by either taking on accountability for larger entities in SA or larger African countries such as Tanzania, Uganda, and Botswana, managing their CIT, VAT and excise with the Senior specialist or In-country tax manager reviewing all deliverables before filing or submission to BU managers. There is also an opportunity for the specialist to show leadership potential by mentoring and reviewing work prepared by analysts or trainees within the team.
