As a Tax Specialist you will be part of the Group Tax function ensuring accurate, timely and compliant tax reporting across the Group’s operations in Sweden and other jurisdictions.
The role focuses primarily on tax compliance, reporting and analytical work, while also providing exposure to a broad range of international tax matters. The position contributes to the development of tax processes and internal controls and involves close collaboration with Finance, Legal and business stakeholders across the organisation. The role reports to the Senior Tax Specialist and offers the opportunity to develop within the Group’s tax function.
Tax Compliance Support
Prepare and support corporate income tax filings in Sweden and other jurisdictions
Support review of tax calculations/advise prepared by external advisors
Support in VAT reporting/analysis
Other responsibilities
Support preparation of tax disclosures for interim and annual reports
Support the analysis and documentation of Group Transfer Pricing
Support maintenance of tax process documentation
Contribute to improvement of internal controls within the tax area
Assist in responding to tax authority queries and audits
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Good understanding of corporate income tax, VAT and/or Transfer Pricing
Structured and organized way of working
Ability to work with financial data and large datasets (Excel proficiency required)
Experience from accounting firm, tax agency or in-house tax function (1-3 years)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or equivalent
Specialization in taxation is strong merit
Fluency in English and Swedish (written and spoken)
Experience in financial services or regulated environment
Knowledge of accounting and specifically tax accounting
High integrity and professional judgement
Proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
Willingness to learn and develop technical and business expertise
Ability to manage deadlines under time pressure
Ability to understand business needs and translate complex tax matters into clear and practical guidance for non-tax stakeholders
