Job Description

He/she support the Accounting and Tax Director to ensure compliance to the corporate fiscal duties with respect to the existing fiscal regulations and to ensure the tax reporting to local tax authorities and to HQ.

Role and duty – core business

  • Contributes to ensures the compliance with all the fiscal duties (Corporate Tax returns, VAT, other fiscal duties)
  • Support the completion of Italian income tax and indirect tax returns including all related analysis and support;
  • Provides statutory tax calculations under local GAAP and the calculation of current and deferred taxes for quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Manages quarterly German Gaap and IFRS Tax Reporting
  • Contributes to manages tax authority audits/enquiries
  • Works with external firms and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance (Transfer pricing, withholding tax, VAT etc)
  • Manages and documenting transfer pricing.
  • Acts has business partner by Providing strategic tax advice and supports to company projects/initiatives
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of the tax control framework.

Competences

  • Degree in Economics or Tax law
  • Qualified Tax Advisor/CPA or comparable qualification is a plus
  • 1+ years working experience, preferably from a big-four tax consulting firm or tax function of a multinational company
  • knowledge of Italian direct and indirect tax regulations
  • knowledge of main fiscal duties
  • knowledge of tax reporting in accordance with IFRS
  • Basic Accounting knowledge
  • Knowledge of financial, banking and insurance products
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel
  • Fluency in English

  • Ideally IT skills, i.e. thinking in terms of digital work processes, and searching for and establishing digital solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (innovative “solution seeker” rather than a “problem definer”)
