We provide tax, assurance, advisory, business valuation, litigation support, and animal welfare services to clients across a variety of industries. Our culture is built on collaboration, integrity, continuous learning, and exceptional client service. If you're looking for a firm where you can grow your career while making a meaningful impact, we'd love to meet you.
Why Join Us?
You know tax. You understand the forms, deadlines, terminology, and processes that come with working in a tax practice, and you're ready to put that experience to work in a role focused on keeping clients and professionals moving forward.
As a Senior Tax Services Specialist at Frost, you'll be an integral part of our Tax team, combining your tax knowledge, organizational skills, and commitment to exceptional client service. We're looking for an experienced professional who can step into the role with a strong understanding of tax processes so we can focus on teaching you how we do things at Frost—not starting with the fundamentals of tax.
What You'll Do:
Tax Process Support: Assemble and process individual and business tax returns, extensions, estimates, engagement letters, organizers, and other tax-related deliverables.
Tax Knowledge: Apply your understanding of common federal and state tax forms, filing requirements, terminology, and tax processes to effectively support tax professionals and clients.
E-Filing & Acceptance Monitoring: E-file tax returns and extensions, monitor acknowledgments and rejections, identify issues, and coordinate timely resolution.
Deadline Management: Track tax due dates, extensions, estimates, and client deliverables to help ensure deadlines are met.
Client Service: Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients, answer routine tax-process questions, assist with document and information requests, and provide responsive, professional service throughout the client experience.
Tax Technology: Work within tax preparation and workflow software, preferably CCH products, and assist with client portal access, document uploads, activation, changes, and troubleshooting.
Document Management: Maintain accurate and organized electronic client files, including scanning, storage, routing, and management of tax documents.
Problem Solving: Research questions, identify potential issues, and use sound judgment to resolve problems or determine when escalation to a tax professional is appropriate.
Workflow & Project Coordination: Help manage workflow, priorities, and projects within the Tax practice while looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and client service.
Team Support: Collaborate with tax professionals, administrative team members, and other Frost offices to provide backup and support during peak periods and throughout the year.
Confidentiality & Professionalism: Handle sensitive client and firm information with the highest degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

"So, what makes you different?”
We anticipate this question from prospective clients and the answer is short and simple: Attitude and expertise. There are lots of experts in the world (including our specialized teams) but what you do with that expertise makes the difference. We work to create the best possible results for you.
Relationships backed by performance – this defines our attitude.
Since 1974, the relationships we have developed and maintained over the years helped us become a leading independent accounting firm in the U.S. But these relationships would be meaningless (and would eventually disappear) without a daily commitment by the Frost team to provide the best solutions at the greatest value. We love our clients and they love what we do for them.
Expertise that saves you the most valuable commodity of all: time
The fact that many of our professional staff and partners work day-in and day-out inside specific industries is why we are experts. Getting “up to speed” for us simply means sitting down with you. If you engage us, you won’t have to live through a learning curve.
