Location: Zurich (Hybrid)

In this position, you’ll be based in the Zurich office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week.

The Client Tax Reporting (CTR) department within Equatex AG (Computershare) is responsible for accurate & timely regulatory reporting for plan participants in accordance with IRS, FATCA & CRS requirements.

A role you will love

As a Tax Reporting Analyst, you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate and compliant tax reporting across a global business, working closely with Finance, Account Managers, Production Support and international colleagues. This is a varied and highly analytical position where you'll take ownership of regulatory reporting, manage payments to tax authorities, investigate and resolve complex enquiries, and contribute to key annual and quarterly tax processes, including IRS reporting and Swiss Stamp Tax submissions.

You'll have the opportunity to build expertise in areas such as FATCA and CRS regulations while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. We also offer genuine flexibility, with options for part-time (80% FTE) working, adaptable start and finish times, or split shifts to help you balance work and personal commitments

Key responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring of BUW reporting tool
  • Organise & instruct payments to IRS, liaising with Banking team
  • Handle all incoming emails in curing mailbox within 48hrs or less
  • Prepare & maintain stats on enquiries
  • Quarterly preparation of Swiss Stamp Tax report & payment to Swiss authority
  • Annual 1099 reporting to IRS: preparation, testing/validation and submission
  • Manage ad hoc enquiries related to FATCA & CRS regulatory reporting
  • Monitoring and handling of plan ppts enquiries after reporting deadline

What will you bring to the role?

  • A background in compliance, AML, KYC & regulatory reporting processes.
  • Adaptable and open to learning new processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to embrace and respond positively to change.
  • Naturally curious with a desire to understand business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs, with experience using SQL to extract and analyse data
  • Professional experience in the finance industry is desirable
