What is your role?

The Tax OperationsSpecialist ensures tax compliance, reporting, and audit support for Distribution and Services entities in Mexico, in line with local regulations and export-manufacturing tax requirements.

What will you do?

  • Enterprise Tax Compliance & Regulatory Management
    • Manage recurring tax obligations for service entities operating under the IMMEX program.
    • Ensure compliance with ISR, VAT, withholding taxes, DIOT, and applicable IMMEX tax and regulatory requirements.
    • Coordinate the timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
  • Tax accounting & US GAAP Reporting
  • Transfer Pricing
  • Audit Support

What do you need?

  • 5 years of Tax related experience
  • Solid knowledge of Mexican tax laws applicable to maquiladora entities.
  • Understanding of IMMEX program and VAT Certification Rules
  • Prior involvement with IVA refund processes.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, tax provision basics, and deferred tax concepts.
  • Experience managing Safe Harbor calculations.
