We're currently looking for a Tax Manager to join our Auckland-based Finance team on a 9-month fixed-term contract during an exciting period of strategic review, transformation and growth planning.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a genuinely international tax role, supporting operations across New Zealand, Oceania, Asia, Europe and the Americas while working alongside an experienced global tax team.
This isn't a role focused solely on tax compliance.

Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, you'll support both New Zealand and overseas group companies across a range of tax workstreams.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the review of New Zealand income tax returns
Assisting with T&G's global tax compliance programme to ensure timely and accurate lodgements
Providing tax advice across a range of areas including international tax, withholding taxes, GST, FBT and business transactions
Supporting strategic projects, business transformation initiatives and growth opportunities
Assisting with transfer pricing and Country-by-Country Reporting requirements
Contributing to tax governance, controls and risk management activities
Supporting tax calculations and disclosures for half-year and year-end reporting across the global group
You'll bring:
4-6+ years' experience in corporate tax, either in professional services or a large corporate environment
Strong working knowledge of New Zealand taxation
Exposure to international tax matters and cross-border transactions (highly regarded)
Understanding of financial reporting and IFRS
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Excellent stakeholder management skills
A collaborative, proactive approach and desire to continuously improve
A degree in Accounting or Law is required, with CA qualification preferred.
