Who we are looking for

Deloitte is seeking a dynamic tax professional to join our team in Belgrade. As a member of our Tax business, you will have a unique opportunity to build your career and engage in a diverse range of advisory and compliance services, supporting clients with their corporate income tax, VAT and transfer pricing matters, including M&A projects, for some of the biggest local and international companies.

Ideal candidate’s qualifications

University degree in Economics or Law;
5 or more years of relevant experience in a tax consulting practice or relevant tax experience in business environment;
Advanced knowledge in main areas of tax consulting – deep indirect tax knowledge is an advantage;
Excellent command of Serbian and English - speaking and writing;
Strong oral and written communication / presentation skills;
Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Word;
Efficient, well organized and able to prioritize;
Attention to detail and precision in work;
The capability to mentor and educate more junior team members;
Initiative in proposing solutions;
Leadership skills.

Your future role

Lead tax compliance/advisory projects and tax due diligence projects;
Lead preparation of first draft and final deliverables, including emails, memos, and calculations;
Organize and conduct tax research, issue expert opinions, and provide advice to clients;
Communicate directly and build relations with the clients;
Lead project administration activities;
Lead and coach interns, junior and senior consultants;
Provide training to junior colleagues;
