Job Description
We are a leading trading platform that is ambitiously expanding to the four corners of the globe. Our top-rated products have won prestigious industry awards for their cutting-edge technology and seamless client experience. We deliver only the best, so we are always in search of the best people to join our ever-growing talented team.
As we expand into new markets and build out our product suite, our tax function needs to keep pace — managing compliance across an evolving mix of jurisdictions, entities, and regulatory obligations. This role sits at the centre of that: keeping the group on the right side of every deadline while helping shape the infrastructure that scales with us.
Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance Own corporate tax returns, computations, and filings across multiple jurisdictions, working with local advisers and finance teams to meet every deadline.
- FATCA/CRS/CARF Oversee the group's regulatory reporting obligations, coordinating with back office and data teams to ensure filings are accurate and on time.
- Transfer Pricing Maintain TP documentation, review intragroup recharge workings prepared by the accounting team, and liaise with external advisers on benchmarking and compliance.
- Adviser & Authority Relationships Act as the primary contact for the group's external adviser panel and tax authorities — directing adviser work and leading on enquiries, rulings, and correspondence.
- Financial Reporting Work with accounting teams to ensure taxes are correctly reflected in monthly management accounts and audited financial statements.
- Tax Automation Play a leading role in the group's tax automation programme — identifying opportunities to streamline compliance and reporting processes and working with data and technology teams to build them.
- Legislative Monitoring Track tax law changes across the group's jurisdictions and assess their impact on the business.
Requirements
- Qualified tax adviser or accountant (CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with solid corporate tax experience in practice or in-house.
- Working knowledge of FATCA, CRS, and CARF — entity classification, reporting obligations, and the ability to direct operational teams on compliance delivery.
- Experience managing direct tax across multiple jurisdictions simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder skills — comfortable directing external advisers, engaging with tax authorities, and supporting senior internal stakeholders.
Tech-savvy, with an interest in automation and process improvement. Comfortable working with data teams and tools.
- Nice to Have: Financial services background — brokerage, payments, or banking.
