Tax Manager

Your Mission

As Tax Manager, you play a key role in the Global Tax Team, supporting tax structuring & compliance and tax optimization across a broad range of countries and different matters.
You translate complex tax matters into practical, business-relevant guidance and help the organization make sound decisions across direct tax, transfer pricing, and international taxation
From day one, you contribute to tax structuring and transfer pricing assistance, group tax processes and broader international tax support
By combining technical expertise, hands-on operational execution, and strong cross-functional collaboration, you help reinforce robust tax processes and consistent execution across the Group.
Your work has a direct impact on the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of tax support provided to group entities worldwide.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide broad tax support to group entities across direct taxes, transfer pricing, and international taxation, answering business questions with pragmatic and well-founded guidance.
• Analyze the tax impact of business decisions, advise on the best course of action, and support implementation and follow-up to reduce liabilities and manage risk.
• Contribute to key priorities such as Belgian (head-office) tax processes and tax optimization, worldwide tax processes, and transfer pricing support, including audits, compliance, documentation, and policy-related work.
• Support international structuring projects, tax aspects of acquisitions, and selected corporate restructuring topics, including company conversions or mergers where relevant.
• Help develop and document tax compliance processes, transfer pricing procedures, and parts of the tax control framework, ensuring implementation and adherence across the organization.
• Support quarterly and annual tax accounting, including tax provisions, and contribute to tax audit strategies, collaboration with external advisors, and support in administrative or judicial tax defense matters when needed.
• Work closely with Legal, Finance, and local teams in an international, cross-functional environment, taking ownership in an autonomous and hands-on way while balancing operational execution with continuous improvement.

Who are we looking for?

• You hold a University or Master’s degree, ideally complemented by a postgraduate qualification in taxation
• You bring at least 5 years of experience in taxation, ideally with a mix of consultancy and industry experience, and exposure to international taxation
• You have solid experience in corporate tax, in an international context; exposure to transfer pricing is an important asset.
• Experience in Belgian tax matters is a plus, including topics such as Belgian innovation deduction and R&D incentives
• You are a team player with a strong degree of autonomy and initiative, and you are comfortable working in a role that combines strategic judgment with operational execution.
• You combine strong technical, analytical, and risk assessment skills with the ability to understand the business implications of tax positions, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
• You are fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch, French, and/or Spanish is a plus. Experience with SAP is an advantage, and you are comfortable working in a multicultural environment with limited travel.
