We are looking for a Tax Manager to oversee the company's tax compliance and advisory matters in Singapore. This role will work closely with the finance team and senior management to ensure that tax obligations are managed efficiently and that tax risks are proactively addressed. This position is ideal for a tax professional with strong experience in Singapore tax and transfer pricing.

Job Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance & Reporting

  • Review and manage direct and indirect tax matters for Group entities in coordination with
    Finance teams and external tax consultants
  • Review year-end income tax provisions for Group reporting purposes, including tax
    computations, tax disclosures, and reconciliations of tax-related G/L accounts
  • Provide clear guidance to Finance on tax entries and ensure accuracy of tax reporting
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations, including corporate income tax and GST
    requirements

Transfer Pricing & Intercompany Governance

  • Review monthly and quarterly intercompany transactions prepared by Finance to ensure
    alignment with Group transfer pricing policies
  • Ensure transfer pricing documentation, intercompany agreements, and supporting
    schedules are in place and maintained
  • Support consistency and defensibility of the Group’s transfer pricing positions

Tax Advisory & Business Partnering

  • Lead tax research, planning, and advisory on new products, business initiatives, and
    operational changes
  • Provide guidance on tax implications to internal stakeholders to support decision-making
  • Identify opportunities to optimise tax positions within regulatory frameworks

Tax Audit & Regulatory Liaison

  • Support and manage tax audits across Group entities
  • Act as the key point of contact with IRAS, external advisors, and relevant stakeholders on
    tax matters
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to tax queries, audits, and compliance requirements

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to enhance tax processes, reporting efficiency, and automation
  • Drive improvements in tax reporting frameworks and documentation standards
  • Strengthen internal controls and governance over tax-related processes

Governance & Risk Management

  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure tax schedules and supporting documentation
    are properly maintained
  • Ensure tax risks are proactively identified, assessed, and mitigated
  • Support internal and external audits relating to tax matters

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA) preferred
  • At least 6 years of relevant tax experience (public accounting and/or in-house)
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore tax regulations, including corporate tax and GST
  • Experience handling Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore audits and queries
  • Familiarity with transfer pricing and regional tax exposure is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Critical thinker, with the ability to work across regions and functions in a fast-paced environment
