Job Description

A well-established public accounting firm in the Greater Cincinnati area is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to oversee client engagements, review returns, and provide proactive tax planning. The ideal candidate will be client-focused, highly organized, and able to manage work independently while mentoring staff.

Responsibilities:

• Review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns
• Provide tax planning and consulting to clients
• Manage a client portfolio with minimal supervision
• Lead engagements from start to finish, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
• Supervise and train junior staff
• Research and resolve complex tax issues
• Maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications:

• Active CPA or EA license
• 5+ years of progressive tax experience, preferably in public accounting
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes and planning strategies
• Ability to manage a client book independently
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in tax software and research tools

Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000
