About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for various entity types, including individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Develop and implement strategic tax plans to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance.
• Provide technical expertise on complex tax issues and changes in tax legislation.
• Act as the primary contact for client audits and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Train, mentor, and manage a team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic insights and drive client success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation or CPA designation preferred).
• A minimum of 5 years of tax experience, ideally in public accounting or a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
