Industry: Tax Agency

The Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing all tax functions, ensuring full compliance with Cambodian tax laws, and managing tax planning and filing activities. This role includes supervising tax staff, reviewing returns and reports, and acting as the main liaison for both internal and external tax matters.

Main Responsibilities

• Review the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
• Ensure timely and complete filing of all tax submissions and related documentation.
• Supervise and mentor Tax Assistants, promoting a growth-oriented team environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to gather necessary financial and tax data.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with the latest Cambodian tax laws and regulations.
• Examine bookkeeping entries to ensure alignment with tax reporting.
• Liaise with tax authorities as needed and support audits or inspections.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Main Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting or taxation.

• Strong knowledge of Cambodian Law on Taxation.

• Cambodian Tax Diploma or Tax Agent Exam certification preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
