At Heritage Auctions, you’ll join a collaborative team that supports a wide range of business functions behind the scenes, including tax and finance operations that help keep everything running smoothly. The Tax Intern will support the tax team with day-to-day tasks and gain hands-on experience in tax and accounting processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, build foundational skills, and explore a career in tax or finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing basic tax documents and supporting schedules
  • Help collect and organize financial information needed for tax filings
  • Perform data entry and review information for accuracy
  • Assist with maintaining organized tax files and records
  • Support the team with simple research on tax rules and requirements
  • Help with administrative tasks and special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of accounting concepts (coursework is sufficient)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completed or currently taking an introductory tax or accounting course
  • Interest in pursuing a career in tax, accounting, or finance
