What you’ll do:

You'll join us in the Finance team, focusing on Taxation as Executive. This role involves hands on tax and regulatory obligations pertaining to business operations in a GCC environment to reduce risk and drive compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance:

  • Manage and coordinate corporate direct and indirect tax compliance in conjunction with internal and external service providers
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax statutes and regulations; coordinate research and evaluations with outside advisors and determine the impact on the company’s operations.
  • Develop a working knowledge of direct and indirect tax matters impacting the company to effectively support the organization on India-related matters
  • Develop subject matter expertise to effectively manage corporate tax, transfer pricing and tax audits and queries in a timely manner

Tax Reporting:

  • Support the Team Lead on all tax matters and statutory tax provision process

Tax Planning

  • Work with International Tax Team to develop and support legal entity in conjunction with FP&A overall forecast
  • Provide support on tax issues including due diligence, structuring, and filing

Audit:

  • Support and coordinate Internal, Statutory and Group Audits
  • Drive the requirements and ensure schedules and workings are shared on time to ensure a smooth audit activity
  • Act as SPOC on all Audit related from Finance function

Business Partnering

  • Maintain regular communications with global tax team, providing clear visibility into all tax processes and escalating issues and developments as they arise
  • Advise stakeholders relating to intercompany movements of cash and working closely with treasury and foreign controllership team

  • A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning
  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail
  • Willingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork.

What you’ll need:

  • CA /Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a focus on Taxation.
  • Qualified CA with 3-5yrs post qualification experience.
  • Ideal candidates will have prior experience in most, if not all, of the knowledge and experience specified in this section.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end closure processes and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle), Tally and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Proven experience in a team set up and should be a team player.

  • Ability to understand complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Power BI and data visualization tools familiarity is preferable but not mandatory

Confidence in operating in an evolving environment, using data to inform decision-making.
