A leading publicly traded corporation is seeking a Tax Director to lead key areas, with a strong focus on ASC 740 income tax accounting, international tax, and transfer pricing.

The Tax Director will serve as a strategic business partner across finance, accounting, legal, treasury, and executive leadership, while overseeing global tax reporting, compliance, and international tax initiatives in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Position is base salary plus very high bonus!

Responsibilities:

• Lead the quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision process, including preparation and review of worldwide income tax reporting, deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances, and effective tax rate analysis.
• Oversee global direct tax compliance for domestic and international entities.
• Manage international transfer pricing policies, documentation, intercompany transactions, and global compliance requirements.
• Partner with leadership on international tax planning, entity structuring, cross-border transactions, and operational initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements and maintain strong SOX controls across the tax function.
• Research and analyze the impact of changes in US and international tax legislation.
• Manage federal, state, and international tax audits and coordinate with external advisors and auditors.
• Drive process improvements and help scale the tax function.

Qualifications:

• CPA required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MST preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience within public accounting and/or publicly traded corporate environments.
• Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 income tax accounting.
• Significant experience with international tax and transfer pricing.
• Experience within complex multinational organizations.
• Big 4 background strongly preferred.
