
As Avalara expands its Managed Services footprint across thousands of global customers, the need for accurate, scalable, and compliant tax exemption processing has never been greater. A single error in exemption certificate validation can expose a customer to significant audit liability — directly impacting client trust, retention, and Avalara's reputation. The Managed Services Exemption Analyst (I2) exists to ensure that high-volume exemption certificate workflows are executed with precision, speed, and full regulatory compliance across US jurisdictions.
This role is critical to Avalara's ability to deliver a differentiated, audit-ready managed service that drives customer confidence and operational efficiency at scale — while supporting Avalara's AI-first backed growth agenda.
AI Expectations
