FT / PT Status – Full-Time
Salary – $22.60 - $37.86 Hourly Wage
Remote Work / In-Office – Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day responsibilities of this position:

• Experience negotiating with customers
• Review complex tax cases (Tax Clearance, Bonds, Bankruptcy, Garnishments)
• Prior experience in collections, including taking legal action
• Basic understanding of Utah tax laws
• Skills in dealing with customers an adverse environment
• Prior experience working with customers over the phone
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Be able to do your part in a team environment
• Research information to find answer to questions
• Data entry skills
• Has exceptional customer service skills
• Is very detail oriented

• Tax Compliance Agent II
  • $22.60 - $33.96
• Tax Compliance Agent III
  • $25.22 - $37.86

Salary

Employees are hired for this position only at entry level (Tax Compliance Agent II), $23.73 an
hour. We are unable to negotiate hourly wage amounts. DHRM rules apply for promotions/transfers for
current state employees.

Qualifications

Minimum or "day-one" qualifications:

• Has experience with GenTax/Collections
• Is able to work in office at least two days per week, or as needed.
