The Tax Associate, Federal Income tax uses experience and professionalism to transcribe and analyze a variety of payroll and laborer documentation to support a team of service delivery professionals in their daily responsibilities. The position’s primary focus is to provide outstanding tax compliance services, while representing the Firm in a professional manner.

Duties and Responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results

People:

Create a positive work environment and team experience

Client:

Consistent and comprehensive status updates to US / India supervisory organizations

Record, transcribe, and analyze sensitive payroll documentation in accordance with IRS regulatory guidance

Support US-based team members in quality assurance and review processes for payroll analysis

Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities

Assist with the preparation of project reports and client-facing deliverables

Generate files in Microsoft Excel to organize wage and apprenticeship tracking data

Interpret and understand best practices in accordance with evolving taxation authority guidance

Value:

Strong English skills, both orally and written, and communicates with proper grammar, spelling, and proofreading

Maintains a diligent and organized set of regulatory guidance to support tax compliance studies

Assists with developing and implementing process improvement

Performs other duties as required

Education and Experience:

Associates degree, business or finance background a plus

Any master’s or bachelor’s Degree: N/A

Computer Skills:

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook is required.

Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is required

The individual must have a strong typing speed with a high level of accuracy

Driver’s license
