Osler is seeking associates with a demonstrated enthusiasm for tax to join our leading tax group in our Toronto office.

Osler is recognized for its market leading tax practice, with specialized and extensive expertise in both tax transactional and advisory mandates and tax disputes and litigation. From our offices in Toronto, Montréal, Calgary, Ottawa and Vancouver, our team of 50+ tax planners and tax litigators operate as an integrated unit — a major differentiator of our practice. No other Canadian firm offers this unique opportunity for associates to have exposure to both market leading tax planning and advisory mandates, as well as tax controversy matters all the way from audit stage to the Supreme Court of Canada. Our ability to work in a collegial and seamless manner across the national practice allows associates in each of our offices the opportunity for involvement in both local and national projects.

Position Requirements:

Do you have what we’re looking for?

• A minimum of 4 years of practice experience in the tax advisory and/or dispute areas;
• A strong grasp of foundational income tax principles;
• Excellent academic credentials;
• Exceptional communication, matter management and writing skills; and
• A self-starter attitude with the ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.

Compensation:

Compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including year of call, job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience.
