The Division:
Harris Computerpart of Constellation Software Inc.-specializes inmission critical software and service solutions for the Public Sector, Healthcare, Utilities, PrivateSectorand Insurance markets globally..
Reporting to theDirector, USTax,thisroleis responsible forU.S.tax compliance and tax accounting for the US operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare USFederal andState corporate income tax returnsand relatedworking papers
Prepare USFederal and Statetax extensions and instalment calculations, and coordinate payments to relevant tax authorities
Prepare all required UStax compliance forms for foreign entities, such asForms 5471s, 5472s,1120Fsas well as calculations for GILTIand FDII
Prepare the quarterly and annual US income tax provision under IFRSincluding preparation of account reconciliations for US income tax accounts
Correspond with various U.S. tax authorities as well as responding to tax notices received
Help the tax function manage tax requests that arise from internal team members and business functions
Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Director, US Tax, including ad-hoc research and analytics asrequiredfor USoperations
Assist withPurchase PriceAllocationsand drafting Forms 8594 and 8883
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2years of relevant tax-related experience
Skilled in US income tax software (OneSource)
Strong computer and data analysis skills including intermediate Excel skills (using pivot tables, basic charts/formula)
Works well under pressure with multiple concurrent deadlines
Comfortable with or enthusiastically willing to learnnew technologyplatforms
