Job Description

A unique advisory firm based in Malta is seeking a German-speaking Tax Advisor to provide sound tax guidance to their German-speaking clientele. In this role, you will work closely with the Managing Director and Co-Founder, supporting clients based in both Germany and Malta.

This is a hybrid
role that offers a salary of up to €38K.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Work with a diverse client portfolio based in Malta and Germany
• Produce accurate, timely, and compliant tax work in line with Maltese and German regulations
• Provide sound tax advice to the existing client portfolio
• Assist clients with tax planning, structuring, and compliance matters
• Prepare and review tax computations, returns, and related documentation
• Liaise with tax authorities and other relevant institutions on behalf of clients
• Support internal process improvements to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure alignment between tax and financial reporting

Skills & Experience:

• Part-qualified in ACCA or holding a university degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
• Fluent in German (non-negotiable) and English (written and spoken)
• Prior experience in a tax advisory or accounting environment
• Strong understanding of tax principles, compliance, and reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in client-facing settings
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and approachable manner
