Zepos & Yannopoulos and ZEYA Accounting are among Greece’s largest independent professional service groups providing comprehensive tax and legal services to international companies doing business in Greece.

Due to the continued growth of our practice and consistently high demand for Tax & Accounting services, we are currently seeking to recruit a Tax & Accounting Consultant to join our Tax & Accounting practice.

The Tax & Accounting Consultant will be working closely with senior team members providing advice and assistance to clients on Corporate Tax, VAT, M&A as well as Greek Accounting Standards, myDATA and IFRS matters. The Tax & Accounting Consultant will also participate in tax due diligence/diagnostic reviews and assess how tax, financial, operational and other risks impact our clients and their operations in Greece. This role also requires research, drafting tax memos, incorporating findings and conclusions appropriately into user-friendly reports delivered to our clients.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting/Finance, Economics, Business Administration or relevant field
• Postgraduate studies in Tax and Accounting will be considered an asset
• Long-term tax seminar of the Athens University of Economics and Business or another equivalent will be considered an asset
• 3 - 5 years working experience in tax & accounting advisory and compliance matters
• Working experience in a Big Four environment will be a plus
• Experience in tax compliance, myDATA reporting and keeping double-entry accounting books desired
• IFRS knowledge will be considered an asset
• Native Greek speaker with excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)
• MS Office literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
