About the Role

As part of this growth, we are increasing the capability and capacity of our tax function to support the business evolving needs.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in the preparation and delivery of tax compliance activities, working closely with senior team members whilst gaining exposure to a broad range of tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare income tax calculations for small to medium sized entities within the group
  • Assist in delivering tax compliance and reporting, including year-end tax provision calculations
  • Prepare GST (BAS/IAS) and FBT returns, including reconciliations and supporting analysis
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliations, and groundwork activities, including data validation
  • Support senior team members in responding to tax-related queries from the business
  • Maintain accurate workpapers, documentation, and tax records
  • Contribute to process improvements and support the maintenance of tax procedures and systems

About You

  • 1–4 years’ post graduate experience in tax, either in a Chartered firm or corporate environment
  • Progressing towards or recently completed CA or CPA qualification
  • Exposure to Australian tax compliance, including corporate tax and/or indirect taxes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets
  • A proactive, hands-on approach, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get into the detail
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
