Job Title: Tax Accountant
Location: On-site
Shift: Night Shift
Compensation: Up to 44,900 MBS + Benefits

A dynamic opportunity is available for a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to support multi-state sales and use tax compliance. This role is essential in ensuring accurate tax reporting, conducting tax research, and supporting internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with multi-state sales and use tax regulations.

• Perform general ledger reconciliations related to tax accounts.

• Analyze product taxability and ensure correct tax treatment.

• Communicate with internal and external auditors regarding sales, use, and rental tax matters.

• Prepare and submit monthly tax reports for state and local tax authorities.

• Manage and execute special projects and reports as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent practical experience.

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with multi-state sales and use tax.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Oracle and Vertex is an advantage.

• Highly detail-oriented with strong accuracy in work.

• Capable of conducting tax technical research independently.

• Self-motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines under minimal supervision.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal).

• High integrity and sound judgment with a strong work ethic.

• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.
