Job Description

The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Tax Accountant to join our Global Tax Team based in Pune, India In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across our international tax function and support tax activities across multiple jurisdictions.

You will be part of a global tax team responsible for ensuring high-quality tax compliance, reporting, and advisory support to the business. The position offers exposure to international tax matters and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and external advisors worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Accounting and Compliance

  • Support tax accounting and tax reporting processes within the group.

  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of tax returns, including Danish and other international tax returns, in cooperation with external advisors.

  • Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting in accordance with internal and external requirements.

Coordination with External Advisors

  • Manage and coordinate our global outsourcing engagements with external tax advisors

  • Monitor deliverables, timelines, and quality of outsourced tax compliance activities.

  • Act as a key internal contact point between the business and external tax advisors.

Tax Advisory Support

  • Provide tax advice to the business on specific tax matters, including withholding taxes and other operational tax topics

  • Support tax-related projects and assist the business in understanding tax implications of transactions and business initiatives.

  • Contribute to maintaining and improving tax processes and documentation across the group.

Systems and Process Support

  • Work with tax and finance systems used within the group, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and OneStream

  • Assist in maintaining efficient tax reporting processes and supporting system-driven tax workflows.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within tax accounting, tax compliance, or corporate tax.

  • A relevant academic degree in accounting, finance, law, or a related field, with a specialization in tax.

  • Experience working with external tax advisors or global compliance processes is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with financial and reporting systems such as Microsoft D365 and OneStream is beneficial.

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required as you will work in an international environment.
