Tax Associate/Accountant – Job Description
We are seeking a Tax Accountant with at least five years’ recent
tax experience in public accounting. The candidate must have excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation commensurate with experience and a benefit package
available for full-time employees.
Responsibilities:

Review client provided
general ledger and financial statements and prepare journal entries as needed
to compile mid-year and year-end financial statements for book and tax purposes.

Prepare individual,
corporate, partnership, trust, and exempt organizations tax returns including
some multi-state issues.
·
Consult with clients
and provide tax planning.
·
Develop strong working
relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
·
CPA Designation
·
Bachelor’s degree in
accounting
·
Master’s degree in
taxation a plus but not required
·
Minimum of 3 years
recent public accounting experience
