This position’s primary responsibility and function is to oversee and manage the performance of the Operations teams for the Tastevin wine division of Hayden Beverage to successfully meet Company requirements and standards. This will be accomplished through coordination and clear communication throughout these departments and their divisions. This position functions under the direct supervision of the General Manager of Tastevin and allows latitude for independent direction in duties. Essential duties are illustrated below:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Schedule: Monday - Friday
$50,000-$55,000/yr DOE
Responsible for overseeing the Tastevin Operations team, specifically in Boise.
Assist and oversee recruitment by working with the various supervisors and the HR team.
Manage the adoption and oversee training of all worksite safety programs.
Oversee the supervision of the staff’s actions to ensure staff compliance to Standards of Conduct and other Company policies including periodic training for staff on topics such new policies, changes and safety rules or operational procedures.
Oversee the management of the staff’s time and attendance compliance including working with supervising personnel in the identification of any non-compliant behavior and patterns and corrective action process.
Works with the Risk Director and Safety to minimize injuries and costs to the company including establishing and reviewing Safety policies and procedures.
Oversee invoice accuracy and inventory processes (including receiving process and schedule, transfers, working with the Purchasing Director on bonded inventory, and reconciliation of inventories)
Performs regular 1:1’s with direct reports, set goals, and KPI’s holding team accountable for results and efficiencies.
Required to maintain excellent attendance and fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary to ensure operations are effective. Duties are subject to change at the discretion of the Company, to accommodate changes and needs of the industry and our customers.
QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrate the ability to successfully lead multiple teams through communication, resourcefulness, analytical thinking, and necessary attention to detail.
Demonstrate an exceptional ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, co-workers, and staff alike while providing high levels of service by communicating clear and timely responses to issues, requests, and problems.
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic office equipment, ten key, and entry level accounting terminology.
Demonstrate proficient skills in Outlook and IDIG VIP systems.
Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public.
Valid Driver’s License.
Essential Physical Abilities
Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities which permits the employee to discern verbal instructions and communicate effectively with others in person and by telephone.
Sufficient visual and mental acuity which permits the employee to comprehend written and verbal work instructions and make determination of necessary actions to take to comply with hygiene and appearance standards for the facility. Uniforms may be provided and when provided must be worn in a safe manner consistent with instructions provided.
Sufficient visual and manual dexterity which permits the employee to operate safely in a fast-moving environment.
Sufficient body mobility, flexibility, and agility to lift 28 to 60 pounds, up to 50 times 150 times per day, as well as lift 158 pounds up to 8 inches off the ground. Also, the ability to work in an office environment which may require sitting for long periods of time and the ability to drive multiple hours at a time with multiple stops.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full-time position: standard days and hours are Monday through Friday but must be available for weekends and or holidays dependent on business needs. Schedule may vary but can regularly exceed 10 hours. Employee is paid to complete the job regardless of the number of hours.
Travel
Overnight travel constitutes less than 20% of the time.

This position works in an indoor and outdoor environment which may include exposure to varying temperatures reflective of seasonal weather and other varying conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud due to machinery and equipment operating.
