Task Order/Estimator Project Manager

Prairie Band Construction is seeking a Task Order/Estimator Project Manager to monitor and administer complex task orders and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Contracting Officer Representative (COR), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. This position will be over Ft. Leavenworth projects, travel expenses will NOT be reimbursed on the project, local candidates encouraged to apply.

Please note: This position is currently part of a competitive bid process and is contingent upon the successful award of the contract.

Primary Accountabilities:

Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.

This position requires US citizenship for this opportunity.

Major Duties:

  • Lead the management and execution of complex task orders in alignment with contract requirements.
  • Assist the Project Manager in liaising with the KO, Task Order Managers, and government/customer stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation of technical solutions and task schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination across all task order personnel.
  • Support the overall program with reporting, risk mitigation, and performance tracking.
  • Estimating duties as required

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or an additional four years of related experience instead of degree).
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent from a nationally recognized authority).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project or task order management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience with progressively increasing responsibility in the public and/or private sector within IT and/or consulting fields.
