Leidos Intelligence Sector is excited to announce new positions on our Beacon program. This long-term program offers exceptional opportunities for skilled and dedicated intelligence professionals to continue making a critical impact on national security.

We are actively seeking Targeting Analysts at all levels (1 to 20+ years of experience) with a current TS/SCI and Polygraph to collaborate with a team of intelligence professionals in support of operations against priority targets.

This work occurs at client sites in Chantilly and Warrenton, VA with the strong possibility that all work may move to Warrenton in the future. Candidates should be prepared to support both locations.

In this role you will receive, triage, review, and process information/nominations from diverse US Government agencies against Intelligence Community databases following established criteria, standards, and policies, and make recommendations regarding the nomination and process.

This will include:

  • Screening and vetting individuals against IC databases.
  • Using appropriate tools and analytic tradecraft to evaluate, analyze, and integrate relevant identity information.
  • Utilizing call chain analysis process to determine relationships, patterns, trends, indicators, and warnings to identify and report intelligence gaps.
  • Examining information from nominations to export.
  • Participating in nomination Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) reviews.

This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience. Level of opportunity, including compensation, will be matched to a candidate’s experience. The majority of the positions on this team are junior-to-mid level (Levels 1 – 3).

Required Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and the specified minimum number of years relevant experience listed below, additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree
    • Level 1 requires 1+ years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience without the degree
    • Level 2 requires 3+ years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience without the degree
    • Level 3 requires 7+ years of relevant experience, or 12 years of relevant experience without the degree
    • Level 4 requires 12+ years of relevant experience, or 17 years of relevant experience without the degree
    • Level 5 requires 20+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in manipulating various databases in support of the customer mission
  • Experience related to intelligence research and analysis work is required
  • Familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives.
  • Prior experience in supporting national security operations
  • Demonstrated ability to research and analyze
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve
  • Demonstrated ability to work on several tasks concurrently
  • Strong analytic writing and editing skills

  • Prior experience with client-specific databases
  • Prior experience with call chain analysis
  • Prior experience with Intelligence Community name tracing

Pay Range:

Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
