Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Liverpool to assist with the appointment of a Targeted Services Officer, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £18.40 - £24.26 per hour

The Targeted Services Officer supports young people, young offenders, and families by delivering targeted interventions, reducing the risk of offending, promoting positive life outcomes, safeguarding vulnerable young people, and working collaboratively with partner agencies to improve opportunities and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with young people in a range of settings to reduce offending and keep them safe.
• Assess, plan, and deliver interventions tailored to young people and their families.
• Deliver group and individual programmes to support personal and social development.
• Record all casework accurately using electronic recording systems.
• Work with statutory, voluntary, and community partners to create positive opportunities for young people.

Essentials:

• Experience working with young people and their families.
• Experience delivering group and one-to-one intervention programmes for young people.
• Experience managing cases involving young people.
• Knowledge and experience of applying Child Protection procedures.
• Full clean UK driving licence (Essential Car User).
